I am a Nicaraguan economist living in Switzerland with my husband and baby. I have accumulated relevant experience translating for several NGOs as well as interpreting when required on the job. My native language is spanish and I speak english fluently and french at the intermediate level. I am part of a recently created NGO called WIDE (Women in the digital ecosystem) which seeks to showcase non-traditional careers in tech and to integrate more women into the digital ecosystem. Our first project is currently being implemented in Argentina. Moreover, I recently worked at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency, as a Policy and Research Analyst, doing research about tech SMEs and entrepreneurs. In the past, I have worked with LatAm and Caribbean SME development and entrepreneurship at TechnoServe Inc. as well as with international trade at the American Chamber of Commerce of Nicaragua, the World Trade Center in Wisconsin and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Nicaragua. I have a master in Economics of Development from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in the Hague, the Netherlands.

I am currently searching for a new opportunity in Geneva while I take care of my 8 month old baby. I love traveling and reading as well as skiing and dancing. I am very family-oriented and love spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.
