I love being a translator. It is the career I chose almost 20 years ago (!) and I still choose it every day. Hardly a day goes by without learning something new on the job.
When I translate, I seek to communicate the meaning of the text in context. Translation is not a collection of words and phrases. That is what dictionaries do, and there are lots of good and affordable dictionaries out there.
To me, translation is exciting: each decision we translators make is a two-edged sword, and sometimes it hurts both ways. Truly, as they say, what is said in any language can be said in any other language. As no pair of languages is completely similar, however, we translators must choose the words, the grammar and the style to cause the same impact, attain the same effect and pursue the same purpose. That is so much fun!
I also like the diversity of languages, because it allows us humans to think different thoughts. And I like thinking in English, in German, and in Latin. But above all, I love thinking in Spanish, my own language and the language of more than 450 million speakers around the world.
I know I can help you communicate your clients’ thoughts, style, values, and brand image. That is what I do, and I love it!
We live in the same world; my office is located in Nuñez, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. In any case, I am just an e-mail or call away. I’ll be working during the Holiday Season and during the South American summer. It´ll be my pleasure to help you.Specializes In:

Being a linguist and having lived, studied and worked in Argentina, México Spain, France and in Brazil, I considered myself thoroughly capable of perfectly grasping the contextual, semantic and expressive meaning of the source language and conveying an idiomatic, precise and stylish message in Spanish.
My knowledge of standard Spanish has allowed me to translate and revise documents for organizations such as the World Bank, the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Abril (Brazilian Publishing House), IBM, Renault, GM, Argentina Nursing School, Casino Puerto Madero, Córdoba City Hall, Disney, LG, Renault, among many others, where it is imperative to render translations adapted to Spanish- speaking regions.
While living in France (from 2000 to 2004) I was responsible for the planning and execution of translation projects including the management of quality, cost and schedule, to ensure customer satisfaction. I also recruited translators from all over the world and developed glossaries.
My rates are most reasonable and my clients have always been satisfied with my translations.Specializes In:
