My name is Aviram Mishali and I'm a freelance English to Hebrew translator, editor and proofreader (native Hebrew speaker).
My experience in this filed goes back more than 5 years. I've translated many articles - mostly academic articles from Social Science (business, psychology, etc') and the Humanities (philosophy, art, history, education, etc') fields - for master and Ph.D students.
In addition, I translate other kind of texts, such as movie subtitles (I did a lot of work with ZOO Digital for Warner Brother studies and some web TV series), marketing brochures, user guides, and general texts.
Recently I've finish my studies of computer's networks and data security (Microsoft - MSCA qualification, Cisco CCNA, Linux, Checkpoint etc'), hence I'm familiar with the technical language in the IT field. Also I provide localization services for apps and have translated many mobile and PC apps (among others for OneSky - localization company).
As part of my translation work I often conduct proofreading and QC for translation. A major editing project of mine was a substantive editing on the book "Megilat Esther - Megilat Hahipuchim" by Ilan Sendowski. Though recently I've done some editing work for BVA Mystery Shopping company, proofreading of Bible commentary, translations proofreading in the IT field, etc.
Beyond that, I'm hard working, trustworthy, efficient, thorough and always deliver quality work before deadline. I always conduct a research for legal and technical phraseology to ensure the correct translation is used.
