I am an Egyptian-American who was born in Egypt and soon after traveled to the United States. I have spent nearly 7 years in Egypt, where I was taught modern Arabic and familiarized with the Egyptian cultures and traditions. I spent most of my summers in Egypt, reaching out to my grandmother and grandfather. I was in an international school there where English was the primary language. I came back to America when I was 14 years old. I came in my sophomore year of high school. There I excelled, being nominated as the National Honor Society President. I delivered speeches in BOE and City Council meetings. I translated to people who had difficulty learning English. My life has been dedicated to the service and well-being of people from two different continents.
Fluency in both Arabic and English. Translated for elders in court civil services. Translated for tourists in a guide back in Egypt. Translating documents from Arabic to English in my school. Arabic to English tutor in my school.
